Recycle or Else

It's extremely important that people remember to recycle, a small gesture that can have big ramifications. A mask was initially constructed from recycled plastics. The finished mask was then used as a base for color and form studies. These studies helped inform a final poster that encouraged people to recycle. The poster itself began as a collage pieced together from found material. It was then scanned and edited. This project was done for the Whole Foods supermarket on Center Avenue in Pittsburgh, PA, where it hung for two weeks.
